And that’s a wrap! Our very first Pitch Party for female led startups from Sri Lanka in Singapore was a resoun.....
It has been a particularly exciting week at the SLBA as we hosted “Invest Sri Lanka – Retire Sri Lanka”, a special forum in Singapore with keynote speaker Dr P Nandalal Weerasinghe, and representatives from our strategic partners, Colombo Stock Exchange, Port City Colombo and John Keells Holdings PLC, along with our speakers, H.E. Ahamed Razee, Acting High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Singapore, Mr Thilan Wijesinghe, Ms Agnes Safford, Ms Geri Murphy and our moderators Teymoor Nabili and Sharlyn Perera-Stafford , Vice President of SLBA.
The event was hosted by current and former presidents of the SLBA, Lakshanthi Fernando and Angelo Perera. The event held at the American Club in Singapore was not only a fantastic forum to showcase the investment & retirement opportunities in Sri Lanka but also to address the challenging questions and concerns for those who may be considering the country as a travel, investment or retirement destination or those who may have already invested in the country.
We would like to thank our official travel partner SriLankan Airlines Official and Chamendri W., Minoli Almeida and Sidat Senanayake from our Executive Committee and Senaka Tiranagama, Niranjan Perera, Manjiv Dodanwela and Mohan Meegolle from our Advisory Committee for their support and participation in making this event a great success.
We believe Sri Lanka is truly at an inflection point, and we were delighted to see so many members and guests at the event.
